The American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Provider Course builds on Basic Life Support (BLS) skills to prepare healthcare professionals to manage cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This advanced, hands-on course emphasizes high-quality CPR, early defibrillation, airway management, effective team dynamics, and evidence-based resuscitation care according to the 2020 AHA Guidelines.
Participants will learn to:

Perform high-quality BLS and integrate AED/defibrillator use

Recognize and manage respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest

Identify and treat bradycardia and tachycardia

Apply ACLS algorithms for VF/pVT, PEA/asystole, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes

Demonstrate effective communication as a member or leader of a high-performance resuscitation team

Provide post–cardiac arrest care, including targeted temperature management
The course includes interactive case discussions, megacode simulation testing, and a written exam. Successful completion results in an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card valid for two years.
This course is intended for physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who direct or participate in advanced cardiovascular life support.
